Our Shipping is simple. We have choice services to accommodate your needs.
1. Standard Parcel Shipping: shipping rates range from $10.95 to $69.95 for Standard Shipping with FedEx, USPS, DHL, or UPS. Please note that most of these items ship via parcel services with a tracking number and may be placed in the first dry location at your home or place of business. You will have a tracking number and you are responsible for tracking your delivery.
2. Standard Furniture Delivery: This is delivery inside your home or business via industry carrier. Furniture will be unpacked and placed on the first floor in cleared space or first dry area. Please note that some items that require special handling cannot be shipped as Standard Furniture Delivery.
3. White Glove Delivery is a premiere delivery service available for furniture products. White Glove Delivery includes placement of products into your room of choice, delivery of items up to two flights of stairs or higher by service elevator, unpacking of items, debris removal, and complete product set-up.
There are some instances where special handling is necessary. This will be a quoted delivery and customers will have the choice. Our customers will enjoy very competitive shipping rates on Special Handling.
How will my order ship?
All large furniture items are specifically packed to be delivered to your home or business in first class condition. All shipments are fully insured.
How do I prepare for delivery?
The delivery personnel will unload and place the furniture inside or at the threshold of your home or business. Delivery will be during business hours of 8 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday, or by appointment if applicable. You will need to have your space cleared where the furniture is being placed. In the event space is not accessible the furniture will be dropped off in the nearest dry space. For non-white glove delivery, you will need help you to move and set up your items.
When will I receive my order?
After placing your order, you will receive your delivery information. Most products will ship within 2-3 business days. Custom and Special Orders will ship in 3 to 6 weeks. If an item is out of stock, you will have the opportunity to wait or change your order.
What happens when my item is back ordered?
For items that are back ordered, we will notify you right away and let you know the approximate date when the items will be available. Please note that though we give the most accurate estimations and great service, sometimes we cannot guarantee these dates! We are usually passing on the manufacturer's information and timeline.
How do I schedule my delivery?
Furniture Design Centers will notify you of a delivery time frame after your order is placed. The carriers will contact you to schedule your delivery day. If the delivery window changes, we notify you. It is important to be home to accept your delivery. Please note that if you are absent for your delivery, you may incur additional re-delivery costs. At times we do use carriers such as FedEx, DHL or UPS, who do not call prior to delivery but will have a delivery tracking setup.
How many deliveries will I receive?
We will attempt to deliver all your products together. However, If you purchase items from more than one manufacturer, you may receive more than one delivery.
What if I live outside the continental USA, can you ship to me?
At this time we only ship to 50 states in the USA. However, we might be able to make special arrangements. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 800-207-1485 for information. Alternatively, some of our members arrange their own international shipping. If that's the case, we'll be happy to ship the items to the warehouse of the international shipping company of your choice. Please contact us for the shipping quote.
What happens in the unlikely event my product is damaged?
If your product is slightly damaged, please note the damage in details on the Proof of Delivery form and inspect completely for further damage. If your product has significant damage, please refuse the damaged items only and notify us immediately either at 1-800-207-1485 or by emailing email@example.com. *Please note in most cases digital photos are required to show damages of the merchandise and/or the packaging. However, pictures may be no good if the damage is not noted on the drivers delivery receipt. If you keep a slightly damaged item, please keep the original box/packaging since it is required for us to process any needed claim.
Please note that you do need to inspect the boxes when receiving the merchandise. If the box is damaged and it is not noted on the delivery receipt, the merchandise is recorded as delivered in good condition. In that case there leaves very little recourse for making a claim with the trucking company, the manufacturer, and we cannot assume the responsibility. For concealed damage, please report any issues within 5 days of the delivery receipt. We will likely request the picture and detail description of the issue in order to process the claim. Depending on the extent of the issue, we can usually send replacement parts or have a Furniture Medic professional to repair it.
